Prodigy NOVICE/BEGINNER Wrestling Camp STARTS TONIGHT!  Work HARD, Have FUN!

Early experiences in a sport shape the way an athlete will see that sport for the rest of their lives.  Early experiences are important to learn the right technique and position from the start.  Prodigy’s first NOVICE Wrestling camp is for this athlete, this wrestler.  Based on the core techniques taught in their PREP Wrestling Training sessions, this session will teach young wrestlers good technique in a fun and exciting atmosphere.

Head Coach:  Willie Wineberg – 4 Time State Champion, 19 Years as an Elementary Teacher in Miamisburg City Schools

Novice Camp Counselors:  Team Prodigy Elite Wrestlers – Jack Berry (OAC State Placer), Jack Bratton (OAC State Finalist), Tucker Campbell (OAC State Placer), Vinnie Freeman (OAC State Placer), Logan Irvin (OAC State Placer), Calob Heilman (OAC State Finalist),  Matthew Wright (OAC State Qualifier), and More!

Counselors provide more one on one attention for the wrestlers and their partners!

Prodigy Novice Camp (May 30th – June 1st) – Suggested for younger wrestlers with 0-2 years experience still trying to learn the basics.

6 – 8 pm $60 (+ Tax) – 3 days/3 two hour sessions

The Prodigy Novice Camp is developed for the wrestler at the beginning of their wrestling journey. Coaches will focus on the basic fundamentals and techniques that every wrestler needs to know in a fun and exciting environment. Topics will include positioning, movement, agility, takedowns, defense, top and bottom. This camp is a great camp to introduce wrestlers to the sport and to review what a wrestler has learned in their first year or two in the sport.
