2016-17 Prodigy Winter Programs

Information for Prodigy’s 2016-17 Winter Programs is now updated on the Prodigy Wrestling Academy website.   Prodigy has many options for wrestlers to fit into their training needs, including: *Team Prodigy Elite Training (Formerly Precision Elite) – MUST APPLY AND BE ACCEPTED!  *Prodigy Developmental Training (Formerly Predator Elite)  *Prodigy LIVE! – Southwest Ohio Competition Nights   Also available are Prodigy’s technique classes that allow wrestlers to master basic technique in limited class sizes. Primary Class – 3-5 year old, no contact class introducing wrestling skills and agilities to new wrestlers (Begins in September) Prep Class – Learning wrestling’s basic techniques and working with a partner (Begins in September) Propel Class – The 3rd level class to continue building the wrestler’s arsenal. (Begins in November) Prevail Class – Advanced Technique class that exposes athletes to many different series of wrestling technique. (Begins in November)   In development at Prodigy for the Winter Season: Prodigy Girls Club – Bringing area girl wrestlers together to train. Team Prodigy Junior High Competition Team – Must have 12 wrestlers commit in order to move forward! Prodigy’s 2015-16 Season a Success!

Prodigy has been helping the wrestlers of Southwest Ohio since 2008.  Through many coaches and wrestlers, success has always been a big part of Prodigy.  Prodigy Wrestling Academy began 2 seasons ago with great successes throughout.  There have been some amazing accomplishments by the Prodigy wrestlers this season.   2015-16 Prodigy Highlights *Over 750 wrestlers have crossed through our doors in 2015-16 to work towards their wrestling goals! *Prodigy and the wrestling community raised over $2,000 to help Ahmad Doucet in September *4 Prodigy OAC State Champions *3 Prodigy OH-WAY State Champions *11 Prodigy OAC State Placers *7 Prodigy OH-WAY State Placers *Over 150 wrestlers participated in Prodigy’s Freestyle Club this Spring! *14 Wrestlers made the USA-Ohio National team to represent Ohio in Fargo this month! *Countless other wrestlers have won or placed in state and national competitions throughout the season.  For a complete list, please visit the Prodigy Wall of Fame. Brock and Segal win OAC State Championships for Team Prodigy

Team Prodigy wrestlers had a great showing at the OAC State Championships. Jack Brock and Sterling Segal were state champions. Jack Brock won his second straight OAC State Championship. Sterling Segal came away with his first. Both wrestlers won their matches throughout the tournament in impressive fashion. Two other Team Prodigy wrestlers finished as runner-ups at the OAC State. Logan Montoya and Eli Spencer both lost heartbreaking finals matches to get second. Both finish out great seasons. Team Prodigy had many OAC State placers and had many wrestlers who train at prodigy but train under different names place also. Congratulations to all of the wrestlers who use Prodigy as a resource to reach your goals. We are proud of each and every one of you for your hard work and dedication towards your goals.
