Prodigy State Training Starts Monday, January 4th!

2016 Prodigy State Training Begins January 4th! Prodigy State Training Information Last season, Prodigy began to provide an opportunity for area wrestlers to train together and prepare for the state tournaments (OAC and OH-Way) at the end of the season.  Bringing together wrestlers focused on reaching their goals and having coaches who can prepare these wrestlers to compete at a high level, is the reason many of the wrestlers who trained at Prodigy were on the state podium at the end of the season. In order to meet the needs of all levels of wrestlers, Prodigy created a system that allowed parents and wrestlers a chance to “pick and choose” areas of wrestling that would benefit them best.  A schedule was created and followed so that wrestlers could come and go as they needed during a three hour time frame in order to reach their goals.   In January, the schedule will be: 5:30-6:30  Technique (wrestlers will be introduced to basic and advanced level technique) 6:30-7:00  Drilling to improve their technique and for conditioning 7:00-8:00  Live Wrestling 8:00-8:30  Conditioning   Wrestlers who would like to work on technique can come early for technique and drilling. Wrestlers who want more intensity may want to come for drilling, live, and conditioning.   The schedule will adjust to have more drilling and less technique as we get closer to the state...
